The Portillo wines took their name from the historic mountain pass that links the Andes Mountains with the Uco Valley, traveled by General San Martín in his liberating feat and later by the scientist Charles Darwin. Today Portillo is also the best way to enter the fascinating terroir of the Uco Valley through wine. Portillo, a young and distinguished wine, which expresses in each one of its fresh varietals, the color, the aromas and a special flavor given by the tradition of Bodegas Salentein, with a personal and own style.
